Life thus far

I haven’t checked in in a while (that sentence looks so weird to me, but I’m not fixing it!!). School started last week and I’m already stressed. Add that on top of Josh being grumpy and crazy. Then add on a 4-day long headache. There you have my life right now. It’s crazy stressful, but I’ll make it through, I always do!

In better news: it’s BOGO blizzards for 0.99 cents at dairy queen! Yum!! I think this deal goes until the 23rd. I could be wrong (don’t tell!) but I know it’s good through the twenty something-th. There you have it!!

Birthday in the house!

Happy birthday to my loving fiancé! I hope you have a great day!!
In honor of his birthday, I whipped up two lasagnas, complete with homemade sauce. Yum!! Can’t wait to eat dinner!!!

Exhausted

Why have I been sleeping like a newborn lately? I’m up usually 3-4 times a night for no reason. It makes for one exhausting day!!

I’ve taken a while to reflect on just how brilliant Josh is. Not only will he be 2 on Halloween, but he can do more than the average 2 year old.
He can:
-recognize all uppercase letters
-count to 15
-spell his name
-speak in 2-3 word sentences
-knows 80% of his colors
He’s so smart!!

Sorry, I had to brag!!

It finally is starting to feel like autumn outside! Thank goodness!! Nothing is better on a chilly autumn day than a nice warm bowl of chicken and dumplings. 🙂

Welcome

Hi all.

I’ve been considering blogging for a while, but just never got around to it. Being a mom and student is hard work, but every moment is the best moment of my life. I’ve got the most amazing little guy, who will be 2 this Halloween. TWO. I can’t believe it. I’m also attending Kent State University 3/4 time (online) to attain my degree in Public Health with my concentration being education and promotion. I’m slated to graduate Spring 2015 if all goes as planned. I’ve got an amazing fiancee who is quite the bees knees, and a goofy dog who thinks he’s a human/cat mixture more than a dog. That’s me in a nutshell.

My life revolves around music, hence the musicalmomma. I love theatre, I have been involved in shows since I was 12. Such an amazing experience, one I will cherish forever. We listen to music daily, and I sing while I cook (it makes the food taste better!).

 

That’s all for now. I’ll try to update with my life whenever I can. Right now, I’m researching best toddler tablets. Hopefully I can find one for a 22 month old!
